Couldn't figure out where to post something that is wildly hilarious, politically incorrect, incredibly wrong and sure to offend the PC crowd (my favourite combination), so here goes. You've been warned. Fudge yeah!

He (she) could have accomplished so much more with a good editor...

F**k off! No, I'm not badmouthing our editors, which we need, aye, and love, but, rather, those cats who always fall back on that line during any time we read their loathsome reviews...oh, it sucked, and there wasn't enough OF it...

Check, please...

LOL! Spoken like a writer ;) Having done both, I respect editors. A good one is invaluable. But you're right--editing can't solve every problem or right all wrongs.

DUH. I just re-read your post and I have to agree with the point (that I missed the first time--sorry, coffee is just right now happening): reviewers who toss out that chestnut like it was a gold brick of wisdom are in the wrong. Intellectual superiority film flam.

Signs a Crazymaker Is Ruining Your Life

Crazymakers are people who thwart the creativity of those they purportedly love. Crazymakers can turn up anywhere—they could be your spouse, your child, your neighbor, your boss. If you are involved with a crazymaker, you probably know it. All crazymakers share certain qualities:

  • Crazymakers break deals and ignore schedules.
  • Crazymakers expect the world to cater to their whims.
  • Crazymakers discount your perceptions.
  • Crazymakers spend your time and your money.
  • Crazymakers triangulate those they deal with.
  • Crazymakers are superior blamers.
  • Crazymakers create dramas—but seldom where they belong.
  • Crazymakers hate schedules—except their own.
  • Crazymakers love chaos.
  • Crazymakers deny that they are crazymakers.
