I'm all for bringing my own drinks and snacks into the cinema, but alas, I was caught once and severely browbeaten by an employee of the theatre (I think it was an usher) and haven't brought my own snacks since. My inner child boo-hooed herself to sleep that night and I've suffered PTSD ever since. Okay, kidding about the event causing PTSD but not about buying snacks at the concession stand.

Don't. Get. Caught.

When I go the movie, it's almost always a matinee. I use the savings from the movie ticket to treat myself to popcorn and a coke.
There's just something about movie theater popcorn......
It is the best. When Brandon was a teenager he worked at the local theater and I was always telling him to bring me home some popcorn. We don't go to the movies very often. But when we do, I think I look forward to the popcorn more than whatever we are there to see! ;-D

I've even been known to buy popcorn at the theater to bring home for Netflix night.

Took yesterday afternoon off because the new fridge was being delivered and to dismantle the broken fridge to get it out of the house.

Beautiful afternoon, and after the fridge was installed decided to spend the rest of the day thatching part of the back yard. Thatching is god-awful hard work. I long for the old days of serfs and indentured servants.

Cute, huh?
FAKE!!! Total fraud.

This is a fake baby that they call a "Reborn." This is just creepy. Think of how people could use such a realistic baby to garner funds for whatever reason. Accuse someone of paternity. Claim illness of a child and set up a Go Fund Me.

Okay, yes. I read Stephen King. My mind went to the dark side of the possibilities for the use of said Reborns. Somebody go write a story.

My mom went through doll collecting phase and had a couple of these dolls. Up close, they're not so realistic (the newborn was downright ugly, but you know what I think about newborns--lol). They were creepy as hell--my aunt refused to sleep in mom's guest room ("The doll room") when she visited.

I love it. that is hilarious. Some of the pictures I saw of them were not so realistic. The one I posted was a quick grab of the cutest one I saw in a glance that looked realistic. When the picture was smaller, she looked even more real. The large photo, not so much, but I could see where it could fool people.
