...if you were graced with it as a gift, it would add a whole new nuance to "giving you the finger"...I had the sectional of this but it got a little too 'handsy' with me.

Familiarity breeds contempt, right? Sometimes, as you said, a new paint color is just what the doctor ordered. My grandfather and uncles were house painters and the itch to change a wall color seems to be in my DNA.Painting is always on my mind, Doc Creed - it's a fun, easy way to update a room. I like the curry color, it would look nice with that blue.
I did our bedroom in a color that is actually a shade of white, but it looks blue on the walls - mostly because of the white trim. I've got lots of color on the quilt and pillows and artwork. It's lovely.
As Muskrat would say: "I can dig it."Next you have to put up crown molding, to top it all off.
So true. I can't remember the last time I was bored. There's always something to do, read, watch, listen to... If you want to drive a kid nuts, when they complain tell them that only dull witted people get bored--a clever person can always thing of something to do (lol). Shuts them up, and you get a variety of colorfully dirty looks into the bargain. That's a lesson I don't think can be taught that time compresses when you get older, or maybe as you get older you're just so damn busy. No days off when you become a parent, months go by like a day. I can remember, vaguely, being bored a lot when I was a teenager. Seems very nostalgic now the concept of being bored or not having 18 million things to get done on a daily basis...
My parents had a set of striped sheets that were almost that curry color--a little lighter, toward a gold tone without being gold (if that makes sense). It would have been in the late 60s/early 70s.Turning the page on a new year always brings out the prognosticator in each of us. What will the music sound like? Will fashion make '80s trends new again? How robust will the stock market be?
What am I thinking about? Wall colors, lol. I started with the memory of a pillowcase my grandparents had that was circa 1960s. It was gold and aqua and I wanted to replicate that nostalgic feeling in my bedroom. The yellow could be considered a curry-honey color, too. I am considering a pea green to balance the two colors.

Might be, unless the room is really big. Maybe one wall? This was one of the darker suggestions of Williamsburg Blue that I like. Too dark?

Do you in your state have a offer up site or garage sale site on the facebook? I have found some hard to find items in there.Frustrated with washer/dryer shopping.
We need a stacking set that will fit in our utility closet, but it seems that in the years since we bought our previous (full-size) machines, they started making them humongous and we're having trouble finding ones that will fit our space.
I've been going to the laundromat for over a year now and I just want to do my own laundry in my own home now that we have the $$ for new appliances.
I'm not sure where you live, but those are often in condos that we've rented at the beach in Florida. My daughter has one in her apartment - it looks new-ish. Sort of 2/3 size of what I would consider to be large. Is that what you're looking for? Not that I know where to find one, but I could ask my daughter's landlord.Frustrated with washer/dryer shopping.
