Was thinking reading a king book that I have already read. The classic re read. I was thinking of a few that I really enjoyed and I thought why not read the first king book I ever read which was 11/22/63. I just finished it and 2 things came to mind. One is how really good this book is. The writing is superb. The storytelling superb. The depths in the characters is superb. The plot, flow ect ect. No wonder it won the Los Angeles book prize which is a tough one to get. Very prestigious. Also won the goodreads readers choice award for 1st place in best science fiction. Also nominated for the international dublin literally award. I'm glad I re read it. Every time is the first time. I re read this and it had me hooked like it was just like the first time I read it. Hopefully u guys got that. The other is how much I forgot. I couldn't believe how much I forgot. Crazy. Do you guys in the years ahead think this book will join the discussion with, salems lot, the stand, the shining of one his best books. I mean the brick is 1000 pages long and u never hit a sludge part. Even the stand has some parts that u just had to grind thru till it took off again. I think it will but will need some time

I definitely think it will become a "classic", but I may be biased towards it, since it is one of my all-time favorite novels.
It has something for everyone: history/time travel, suspense, romance.
I've read it 3 times now and it never gets old.

It is one of my favs already. I like books that bring history to life for me, even if they tweek the facts here and there creating dialogue when necessary to breathe life into a scene.
