Well here I am in Clackamas Oregon & it's 1:27 am on October 4th 2017. I'm taking a break from reading Stephen King's (I'm going to get personal & just call him Stephen) book "Firestarter" at the moment & just signed up as a member to this neat website thing he's got going on here to post some reflections about my read. I'm at the tail-end of the book (page 348 of the hardcover I'm reading which I got from my local library) & found a line by Stephen that I'm going to use til my Sands Of Time run out.
So the line is from the character of Hockstetter & he's asking about the whearabouts of John Rainbird. The character Neary says "Whipping His Weasel In Winnipeg." When I read that line about an hour ago I immediately had to stifle a huge laugh (lol moment quite truly) & it brought a tear of Joy in my eye. No lie.
Hah!!!! Repeat "Whipping His Weasel In Winnipeg"!!!!! Just writing it is makes me smile. It immediately reminded me of a saying a friend of mine's grandfather told me about me catching him look at a cute young girl. I said something along the likes of "Earl. You sly man" & he immediately said "Like A Hound Dog In Heat." Hah. I've never forgotten when Earl said that line & the same goes for Stephen's "Weasel" line. I'll never forget it. Hat's off to you Stephen.
