I now have a fairly big bookshelf filled with nothing but SK books and another shelf on the wall filled with what I consider to be good literature. I put all of the stuff I consider literary garbage (Dean Koontz, Piers Anthony, that Auel woman who writes about cavemen, etc) in the drawers and there they shall stay.

I should rearrange stuff in my old childhood 2 shelf bookcase/bookshelf. all I have crammed in my old bookshelf is old Star Wars stuff, couple of Stephen King stuff including the big old hardcover of Under the Dome, Dune, Lord of the Rings and an old 2010 Uncle John Bathroom Reader in the upper shelf while the bottom shelf is full of old DVDs from 2004 the old 2004 Star Wars DVD trilogy and tv shows for DVD such as Simpsons, Smallville, Duckman and Seinfeld while the far right of the shelf my Gamecube is stored away.

Thing is I dunno where else to put all my Star Wars books. I even have a plastic bag full of the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan Jr Campus novels in front of my bookcase.

Im sort of becoming a hoarder lol. I need a bigger house for my darn books

I love rearranging books but that sounds a bit brutal.
So do I, Cori. I rearranged my bookcases last week. I've grouped them in every possible configuration, LOL. Mostly, it's a way for me to weed out old books and make room for new. Also, I find books I forgot about and read them again. For instance, another member recently asked me about Deliverance and I dusted off my paperback and reread it.

My bougainvillea look divine under the arc-sodium's tonight...
...the golden retrievers will love "watering" them.....
My pair of supernaturally gifted Golden Retrievers coats of fur stunningly shimmer in the heavenly glow thrown Earthward from the arc-sodium light hanging suspended from the pole that rises out of the bed of bougainvillea bushes whose magnificent pink and purple colors darken to stupendous hues in the twilight of night.

Sounds like you and Koontz both have nice places!
