Hi all. I'm new to Stephen King and his works and have been loving everything I've read so far. I started off strangely enough with Roadwork and also finished The Stand and IT. All were amazing to me. I just picked up Desolation and was wondering what I should read after I finish that. His library of work is so extensive with so many great books it's overwhelming to find what to read next. All I know is whatever I read I can't put down!

You probably mean this one:

To be honest I have not read either Desperation or the other one by Bachman "The Regulators" (I own these books but neither one really appealed to me)

I enjoyed 11/22/63, Joyland, A Good Marriage, Big Driver, Apt Pupil, Misery, On Writing etc. etc. One of his short stories "Crouch End" is quite creepy.

I'll echo the Gent's advice. If you're in the mood for shorter reads (after IT and The Stand you must be) try this:
How did you happen to read Roadwork first? Interesting choice. I liked that novel, myself. It sounds like you did, too. Welcome.
....I'm no "Gent"!!!....you take that back, you....you.......Ninny!.......
