Peter Percival Patterson had a pet pig named Porky
This Pet Pig named Porky loved pie

He loved pizza pie, pumpkin pie, pineapple pie, pizza pie,
mints tarts

And Peter Percival Patterson's pet pig Porky loved
Pie for breakfast, pie for lunch, pie in the afternoon and
pie before he went to bed.

Peter Percival Patterson's pet pig Porky ate soo much pie,
Do you know what he did?

He popped.

I agree...RIP, Peter Halsten Thorkelson.

My favorite episode of The Monkees is "The Devil and Peter Tork." Really atmospheric; great writing. I think it is probably the favorite episode for a lot of fans. Many standout lines in it. ("I'm sure that when you say love, you mean need or desire...no one loves things anymore." Uttered by Mr. Zero.) Tork was great in it, as was the rest of the cast. I don't know if Stephen King has ever seen this episode, but if he ever did, it probably would be his favorite, too.

Love Peter Percival, and Neesy's GIF (I think it is called?) of Tork looking up at it. Very funny! Trying to remember, but I think after that poem is spoken -- was it the Pisces/etc. album? -- the track goes to "Pleasant Valley Sunday." Tork did a wonderful rendition of that song on acoustic guitar. He executed the guitar hook perfectly (it is on YouTube, for those interested)...
