where everything looks the way I see it (maybe not the way it is, but them's the breaks).:cheerful:

I wanted to give my friend that rock-star-photography look. It was the right move and made him feel good about himself. Yay!

How far can you take a pot of roses? Not so far but it doesn't seem to matter.

klezmerlady.jpg
I heard the sound of klezmer and I followed it like a musical bloodhound.
This lady said she couldn't understand English, so I took a chance.
I pointed at myself and said "żydowski".
Suddenly, it's smile city and she kindly agreed that I could take her photo.
And away I rolled, pursuing by a virtuoso performance of klezmer, complete with ghosts of European Jews laughing and dancing, in my head. .

I try not to sneak up on people and take photos without their consent. I know that professional photographers do, but this is my hobby.
And my hobby comes with a code - don't steal someone's image.
The caption on the t-shirt reads: "if you don't want to stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them".
Nobody knows who this soldier is. I think that's OK with him.

The things you see on the motorway (I think the nearest US equivalent is the Interstate). . .
Proof that there is a lot of weather in England.
I don't know if there's any significance to a double rainbow, but it meant something to me.

tea dance 2.jpg
Once of my first photos.
Capturing a moment in motion made me feel like a magician.
Still does.
Doesn't happen very often.

theflowersagain.jpg
The accidental picture - a little bit (OK, a lot of photoshop) and suddenly a vase of flowers goes all Impressionist.
Just a little fun.

DSC02032-2.JPG
I didn't mean to get caught up with ghosts again. But there are a lot of them.
One and a half million of them are little ghosts (out of six million, that is).
I want them back.
So much.

Picture (10)-1.jpg
Not sure what the point of this was, except it was so clearly bonkers/ meshugge/bat sh*t, that I had to include it.
Besides I made lined paper look interesting.
Sort of.
Or is it the font or the words or. . does it matter?

Time to go.
If anyone wants to use these, they're welcome.
Take care , be well as you can.
Be as safe as you can.

....Hey RudiRudiRoo!!!...good to see you honey, and your imagery as well....always a pleasure on both fronts.....
The variation on Rudiroo is great - major thanks!
If not for the small matter of 3,795 miles between us, I would buy you a beer at Southside Brewing Co or glass of wine at Georgetown Vineyards (assuming that they're OK hangouts, and that you like a beer or glass of wine)

Ah well, I can dream . . .

....it's my riff on the old "Scooby Dooby Doo!" cartoon battle cry.....and the Vineyards is a lovely place, with a gorgeous view-from which to lift a glass of "grape juice".....

Just a few more pictures - thank you all for your kind comments.
This is just a hobby, which is partly a record of Jewish life in London (sorry, can't display those) and partly my idealized world.

What is it about ducks?
Apart from the fact that they taste nice and they're kosher.

Ducks look lovely and they don't seem to have any issues with humans (in the UK).
Unlike, British swans, who've got anger management issues. . :hammer:

Meet Mr. Tubby.
A polydacytl puss.
Technically, a family member as he belongs to my brother and sister-in-law
Think Maine Coon and you know he's biggggggg.

ChannellingNisan1.jpg
A vase of flowers on a table in Nisan (this month, in the Hebrew calendar).
I think this is a love it/hate it picture.

When I first printed I thought, uh huh, this'll always be just for me.
Then I remembered that there are people who see things through different eyes.
That would be you guys.

rbasep 1.jpg
Self-portrait for funeral/memorial sheet.
I'm so grateful that I can think about my death without being paralyzed with fear - that's a big ol' blessing.

I'm being stalked by a disease that will overtake me, one day.
But at least I know the what, where and why - it's a bit like Stationary Bike from Just After Sunset.
Give some, take some.

The thrift shop.jpg
I love this shop's displays.
Yep, it makes everything look decidedly needful.
But also because you just know that there's a story behind every object in that window.

Just in case anyone from SCH charity shop finds this (stranger things happen), thanks for letting me take the photo.

Gotta go. Zeds of the bed calls me
I'll probably post one more collection, then call it a day.
Again, thank you all.:howdy:
