Has anyone else noticed that the plot of Revival is similar to the joke plot King describes in the season 12 episode of The Simpsons, "Insane Clown Poppy"? He says he's writing a book about Ben Franklin, who used electricity to torture people. And that key at the end of his lightning rod kite? He opened the gates of hell! Spooky.

I've seen that episode and I've just bought the book so after I read it I plan on seeing if that matches up also.... a side note about Stephen King and cartoons...I wonder why he didn't do any voices on the episode of family guy where Peter sits down to tell us about "the greatest author of the last 1,000 years" when they spoof 3 King stories (the movie version anyways). I love that episode.

Another king cartoon reference is the character "Mr. Needful" in the Rick & Morty episode called " something ricked this way comes". I seriously am a newbie to the internet so I will probably never figure out how to post a link or clip but they are showing episodes of it on adult swim's website. The Devil opens up a needful things shop... super funny cartoon...definitely adult.
