neesy, you really should not be posting in Revival threads if you had not read the book.
That has nothing to do with anything.
Actually - read her post that I replied to - it is actually 'sorta relevant' (non-non vs. nom-nom) :tounge::m_curious:

#122 has the extra non in it! (but yeah - I guess I really should stay away from Revival threads) - Andy goes back up North February 6th, so then I will start reading Revival at last! :biggrin2:

'Silly Sally sulked for sullying said thread.' Fred said to his friend Ted.

I cannot squash insects... I collect them in a net and put them outside. :a11:

Same here!

I don't spare certain insects from certain death by crushing (fleas, gnats, mosquitos); others I avoid crushing on general, gross principle (roaches, ticks; large, crawling, unidentifiable alien insects [UAI]); others, if they're in my house, I spare, or try to, by picking up with a tissue and throwing them outside (spiders, can't think of any indoor ones).

One thing I noticed - I was wondering if it was a coincidence, but in the Library Policeman, Dave Duncan says "she waits" repeatedly about the Ardelia Lortz creature. In Revival, Astrid also says "she waits" repeatedly about Mother. I'm wondering Ardelia (not really an ant, more like a caterpillar) might also be one of the Old Ones or related to them in some way.

Had a feel of Pet Semetary about it mixed with Frankenstein and Lovecraft. The whole afterlife section had me thinking of the ending of The Black Hole and also the Hieronymus Bosch painting The Garden Of Earthly Delights. Hints of Dante's Inferno too (although King's description doesn't fit with any of Dante's circles).

For those who aren't aware of Bosch's works.
