Regarding Richard Chizmar's post about rereading The Stand...he says something about finding out more about Fran and Stu in the future. He cryptically says that's all he will say about this.

Is there a new story coming out with the two? Or does it have something to do with a filmed project?

The essay was written a while ago, so perhaps this has already been covered. If so, I have not read about it.

SK: There's one Stand story that still needs to be told, although it's not a long one. I happen to know that when [Stand characters] Stu Redman and Frannie Goldsmith headed back to New England (with their baby), Frannie fell into a dry well. That's all I know. I'd have to write the story to find out what happens.
