Rick May, a voice actor known for his voice acting for iconic video game characters like Peppy O’ Hare from Star Fox and Soldier from Team Fortress 2, passed away yesterday from Coronavirus at age 79.
Although I was never a big fan of Team Fortress 2 to know much of his character there, 2 of my friends are and are understandably disappointed of his passing.
He also was the voice of the iconic “Do a Barrel Rol” line, spoken by his character, Peppy O’ Hare, in Star Fox 64, which has gone on to become a meme and very quoted line among not just Star Fox fans, but gamers in general.
