....Pru my friend, let me say that the pain will hit you from odd angles....but there is joy there as well.....we have begun the task of going through his and Mom's things-which certainly keeps the loss sharp and ever present, yet I have found much to smile about as well......again, from the heart of my gigantic bottom-errr summpin' like that....I thank you all for the kindnesses.....all of us appreciate it more than you'll ever know.......

...many thanks Doc....I’m plodding along, trying to get everything figured out now that I’m handling the estate....this is big boy stuff and the kid in me ain’t havin’ any fun....Tracy has been my rock, if not for her and all of you, I would have had a despondent break....time and again I say, this place is magic for so many many reasons....
We are here for you, buddy. I can relate to it hitting you from odd angles. It’s coming up on 7 years since SwiftDad’s passing and I still get gobsmacked by it every once in awhile.
I'm really late to this, but I wanted to offer my sincere condolences, Scott. Coincidentally two of my close high school buddies lost their parents the same week your father passed. I guess we are getting to that age.
I'm late to this too but just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear of this sad news and hope you and your family are doing as well as can be.

....thank you both....we are working through it and I’m trying not to be overwhelmed by the financial and domestic clean up....as I posted earlier, grief comes at you sideways...I had some tears tonight, just seeing a coat that he always wore...still, we persevere and bless Tracy and her Mom...they are doing a ton of the sorting through, just to try and spare me some pain....love you ladies!....

....I am maintaining my friend......I can only do small doses of the house cleaning because the memories are to thick and to close as yet.....dozens of photo albums have been stowed away until and if I'm ever ready to go through them.....the loss is still to keen....
I know where you're coming from, I lost my mother and sister within eight weeks of each other back in '97, life goes on and despite how hard it is we must go on with it. Love and light to you and yours.
