I loved it as much as Boy's Life. So much story in only an average size book!
I keep waiting for an announcement on the release date for "The Listener." Hopefully soon as I've caught up on most of McCammon's novels.

Me too. I would love to it if he wrote a modern day sequel to Usher's Passing. I think this would be the perfect time.
Read "Pym" by Mat Johnson while you are waiting. A good Poe-related book with some very funny parts.

Good move! It looks like it sold out in one day. Great to see McCammon getting some appreciation. He is probably the nearest thing to King is terms of longevity and skill. Our economy must really be booming as well as 500 limited editions at $150 and 52 lettered at $400 means they took in about $100,000 in one day. That is some real disposable income floating around.
Sounds like the title of the next Corbett book is "Cardinal Black." Now the wait begins!
