I give up. 36-K words is roughly how many pages?
The first one was 152 pages in the published book. Based on the two manuscript lengths, I would estimate that the second book will be approximately 220 pages. But that's just a guess.

Just received my copy of Subterranean Press' S/L edition of They Thirst. Beautiful book! I am disappointed that there's only two illustrations inside tho. The dust jacket is stunning!
Just finished The River Of Souls. Great story! Wicked cliff-hanger! One thing is I felt the first part was a little tongue-in-cheek, like Rick wasn't really into the story so much and was just seeing where it was gonna go and maybe was poking a little fun at us readers. But, by the second part he realized it was going to be a good story and really went for it.

Yeah, shipping costs have killed buying books out of country for me too. I live in Canada and most often the shipping cost is near equal to the cost of the book. :-(
