Naw, I never assume anything about the DT movie is a done deal. I don't figure anything to be done until I'm sitting in the theater watching the movie with my big ol' bucket of popcorn and lemonade.

They're saying he's being considered for the part of Jake and the most likely candidate. Until the contracts are signed, though, it isn't official. We had to sit on the announcement for Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey for a long time because of that, i.e. the terms were still being negotiated so nothing was final until there were signed contracts.

The picture my daughter showed me when it was announced online last night (prematurely, it turns out--thanks, Moderator ) showed him with blond hair, and his IMDb pic also shows him as a blondie.

So, is the charcter NOT being renamed? And is his history being rewritten? (There is an article that makes reference to casting "Jack" who's father died heroically.)
