Cannot wait. S01 was so good, one of the best adaptations I've seen in years, and I really enjoyed 11/22/63 and the new IT. So much came together in the first season, and Gleeson's amazing, what-should-have-been-award-winning performance really made the whole show work for me. Also, count me as thrilled that they decided to move right to the third book in the series for S02.

I had no idea they were skipping over the second book, but it makes sense given how much of that story excludes Hodges and Holly (and Jerome).

Right, and Harry Treadway was so popular with many viewers it would have been a huge drop off to not have him in the show until s03. I have to wonder though if they do move forward w/ s03 will it be a continuation of the third book, will it go to Finders Keepers, or will we see the series take off into an original story? OH well, questions for another day...now to enjoy Season 2!!!!

I'm now really thrilled with what they've done to Jerome. I mean, I get that there was a lot of complaining about how "good" Jerome was, and that "no kid can be that good" (which is bs)...but really? SPOILER ALERT-- Vaping, and hacking the college to change his grades?!

I thought the second season was completely amazing in a different way from the first, though I still like the first one better overall. The sequence at the end, in particular, is very unique and intense. I loved the use of music, as I did in the first season--especially the addition of a second John Prine song to the lineup. The ending was definitely not what I expected, and I can't decide how I feel about it. I'm hoping they're planning a third.

Oh we are talking about the Mr. Mercedes Trilogy?
I understand. I thoroughly enjoyed the series in book form! Although
is it really a trilogy since we see the same characters in a later work?
That said, the three boos sort of melded into one. I couldn’t really get into the TV series. I’m still racking my (over tired) brain as to why we are calling it SO. There was Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, and End of Watch....right?
I’m losing my mind, I swear.

I'm pretty sure it stands for Season and 01 (one) and 02 (two). You're probably trying to think of the zero as an "O".
