Well I seen to having bleedin g in the other eye now. Not sure what the next step is. I saw the doctor on duty and will see my own doctor in Jan. They have started eye injections and my doctor will decide if surgery is next or not.
Is it painful,too? Can you see well enough until January appointment? Praying, Linda.
Not to painful just really annoying. Like everything is out of focus. Like Not driving and not doing certain things. Just resting alot. January seems like forever away but if things get worse I am to call the office. So one step at a time I guess. The doctor said I could still do whatever but I prefer not to do anything that would hurt others or make myself feel guilty if anything would happen.

Oh man, I'm sad to hear this Lin, you have been through so much with the other eye. I hope the injections will help and that perhaps they will get you in sooner to see your own doctor. (((Lin)))
Alot of it is because of the hole. Which was noticed so late in advancement. But have been diabetic for years and had just had eyes and glasses from like Target,Wal-mart and so on. Never knew I should be seeing a more advanced eye doctor who specializes in Diabetic related eye issues. So it was well on its way before I started getting proper eye care. Not sure if this answers your question.

Thanks guys. Just wish I had known and wish I had a way of explaining to others. Perhaps when being dianosed with diabetic,they should require you to take a class and learn all the info. Of things that may affect you later in life.
My sister has lost much of her bone density because of a drug she took for years and no one told her about the possibility of this happening. Needless to say she is very upset about it. This type of thing happens way too often.
