Ok, well as stated in the show the egg crashed to earth along with others except that the others were never whole. The dome appearing when it did was an accident and only happened because the creepy one held the egg long enough to transfer whatever consciousness or being was inside the egg into her (which you see in the reflection when she's doing Junior). The cocoons are used to brainwash the people and change them, giant ants were mentioned above, well that's pretty much what the people are being turned into, if the plan succeeds nobody will argue they will simply take orders from the queen. And the brainwashing capabilities is obviously the main reason why the military wants the egg.

That's actually a pretty good summary :) I'm not sure how accurate it is but it's good :)

Ok well then stick to kids movies.

Hey! I like kid's movies. Since they don't include bedroom/shower/back seat of car/wherever else scenes, they have to rely more on plot and action. And there will no Scooby Do trashing on this board! :p

Just watched it last night. In response to your original question about what else happened...
Some folks from the pods are starting to revert back to former selves. Norrie is cranky, Sam's a drunk, etc. Didn't improve their acting though.

Eeh, I'm going to stick it out till the end, but I don't expect more than mild amusement here and there.

I agree with NBNP about two things, I doubt this will be renewed which at this point may be a blessing. I also enjoy looking at Alexander Koch =D
If SK's name were not attached to this, I may have quit on this season. I kind of want to see how it plays out and if anything exciting happens at all.

The episode was really boring. And come on... everybody
makes love in the end?
What the hell is it? No telling that it was clear since the first minutes of the episode, that this will happen in the end... Honestly, I was afraid it would happen and I hoped it wouldn't... I'm disappointed.

Even Joe and Norrie were bangin' domes. ;-D

I actually think I start to like this season, after watching episodes 3 and 4 tonight (can we please stick to the correct numbering? The topic that's called 4 here isn't about episode 4, presumably 5 and 6?).

By the way, how on earth did a Belgian kids song float across the pond?? :witless:
