I definitely value your opinion, but I think if we are opening it up to anything with SK's name attached to it, A Return to 'Salem's Lot and Pet Sematary 2 should get a lot of votes ... and if we are talking about projects SK was directly involved in, I think Kingdom Hospital was much worse

I loved Kingdom Hospital. I liked the weirdness of it all.

Under the Dome is just the best comedy on television! We have a heck of time laughing and heckling it. You just keep asking yourself what a fine actor like Dean Norris is doing in this, but, hey, you gotta pay the bills I guess. (How in the world can you go from being on Breaking Bad to Under the Dome? Wow. Just wow.) I wish someone would shoot Julia and get the job done. I wish Norrie and Joe were actually the ages they were in the book, because nothing annoys like a group of lame, self-important teenagers carrying on and trying to be all deep. Puleeze. I wish the intro would stop insinuating this Dome fell within the past couple of weeks. I wish someone would tell me why Junior is still tooling around in that dorky police uniform.

I think the problem here is the writing, which is deliciously awful in my opinion ... some of these people on this show are undoubtedly much better actors than this, they're just are not being given anything to work with. It's just one hot mess, but it is part of our Saturday morning routine during the summer (DVR) and I'm glad it's coming back! We laugh and laugh and it's a great way to start the day.

I wonder how many people are watching this just to make fun of it, like we are, which is why the ratings are enough to get it renewed? Either way, we all win, so I guess it doesn't matter. :)

Halfway through season one and just good fun as far as I'm concerned ,easy to watch and I'm enjoying it.
So getting a 3rd season is all good more for me to watch can run and run as far as I'm concerned .
I like to be entertained and it's entertaining me simple as that .
Loved the book and will no doubt re read it too .

I don't know that I'd go quite that far, personally. Yes the acting is awful, as is the writing, and the characters are a complete 180 from the book....wait, where was I going with this?

It's still entertainment and I still very much like the concept, and who knows, maybe the conclusion (which better be in season 3) will be better than the book...which wasn't my favorite. I still, however, can't explain why I continue to watch it. Maybe it's my subconscious telling me to re-read the book.
