Nothing in that opening sequence creeped you out? Ok, let's see if this snippet from AHS: Freakshow's opening sequence creeps you out. It used to send shivers up my spine :)

Animated gif's won't c&p for me :( Click this link to see it.

I'm at work right now and my computer won't let me view this.
I think the opening credits to AHS: Cult are so overly stylized that it looks like a montage of "art" shots to me. That's part of the problem with horror today: between all the CGI effects and artistic crap they work into it I am just not scared, creeped out or even intrigued. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre though? No THAT creeps the hell out of me! See the difference?

A montage of art shots does pretty much describe AHS's opening sequences. I like them lol. I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre too long ago to remember it much. Was it a slasher film?

y'know those sadistic Pop Tarts commercials? They disturb me :(

I watched when it came out. It was fantastic. Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks! I'm almost caught up. Couldn't quite finish this week's episode, but I hope to this evening. I am enjoying it pretty well, so far.

Edit - if you meant "Big Little Lies", I am finished with that and really liked it! I was glad to see they won several Emmys as well.

I'm hooked. I like the fact that they're not making it paranormal, showing that the true evil comes not from the witches or aliens or the black rubber clad S & M weirdoes, but from your fellow man. I love how they're making the Liberals out to be wildly paranoid folks scared of their own shadows, and the Conservatives out to be cult-like extremists. No one is spared the writer's wrath. LOL

And...bonus Easter egg for those who are horror movie fans. Does anyone recognize the house Sarah Paulson and her wife live in and the house across the street where the strange beekeeper and his wife live? (hint: Illinois)

Yeah, I was talking about BLLs. Kidman and Witherspoon hit it out of the park buying the rights to that. Then, getting to star in it....win/win for them and us. I almost got through last night's AHS. As usual, I'm not sure where it's going. This episode helped.

I loved episode 4 :) It's a prequel and answers a bunch of questions. Evan Peters was phenomenal. I cannot think of another actor who can look as angry and menacing as he can. He reminds me a bit of David Koresh.

Wow! It did answer some questions, didn't it? And I feel dumb because it took me until this ep to realize...
the guy with his hand chopped off is Chaz Bono! Which just oozes irony with every scene he's in! And yes! You were right about Ivy and the nanny being in cahoots! Good, that!=D

I'm a big fan of Liane Moriarty. I hope that they are able to do more adaptations of her work.

Keep watching! I finished the 2nd half last night.

I like it. I don't love it yet. Roanoke grabbed me right away even though everyone else seems to hate it. This one seems to get better by the episode though. I thought the election crap would drive me over the edge but they do it so over the top and in a spoof way that it's funny. I was shocked about IVY being a part of the group so nicely done Cat and DJ. Haven't seen this weeks yet but oh that nail gun......
