You know, there is nothing like discovering a book you love for the first time. BUT, this is my secong read of Wolves. I have to say I am so enjoying this. The first time I read it I was so blown away by the entire series, that I gobbled greedily. This time I feel I am savoring. I had forgotten just how much is going on. Right from the first page. I'm only in the very start, page 92, but already very busy. So I think I'm saying all thought there is nothing like the first time, sometimes the second time is better.

I don't know what is wrong with me, but I hardly re-read a book. I found me reading joyland for the third time this year... This say something about the book. I still believe it's his best novel so far.
It is certainly one of them, and a guarenteed future reread for me.

Because of how big the whole series is, I never thought I would ever reread the Dark Tower books, but I'm not so sure now. Wolves is a big book on it's own, and with your thoughts constantly looking back and ahead, there is no way anyone could pick up on all the details, find all the connections and make them stick.

Enjoy the reread Doowopgirl, Wolves was my second favourite of the series.

Wolves is also one of my top books in the series. I am looking forward to tackling the entire series again some day. Working on Finders Keepers right now though!
