......I'm sorry, but this is AUGUST.
I'm not having anything to do with this until the day after Thanksgiving Day,
when I put up my Christmas lights and get the tree.

I think Dana Jean is trying to plan ahead, make members aware of this SKMB event. With MsMod vacations/ board closures , our own life activities- it will give all time to think ahead and plan. Actual gift giving is usually just before Christmas board closure. Dates will most likely be posted once we get closer to the event.

It's a great thing everyone is doing.
I just can't think about anything Christmas right now.
It's just too early and still too hot out side.
It actually depresses me if I watch Christmas movies in the summer,
I can't do it. I don't know why.
I doubt the two things have anything to do with each other,
but I used to suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, managed to over come that years ago.

You can put me in as a ‘first alternate’… in case someone isn’t able to participate who had committed.
