your Grandma did a wonderful thing for you she is gone but whether the sig is real or not does not matter in the context of her gift
the money is gone there is no way to get it back so what difference does it make if it is real at this point
it looks close enough even if it's not real you're not going to resell so it might as well be real...

This is a very, very good point--I'm not going to sell it, you're right about that. I just wanted it to be real for my children (and potential grandchildren)...but I do have a genuine copy signed copy of SB now, at least. Beautifully stated though--thank you

I take it you got a signed Sleeping Beauties?

My wife did, and she was kind enough to give it to me =D. I had hoped that my 11/22/63 was real, as I will soon have two small sons (second one due on December 5), and I wanted each of them to have a signed King to pass on something that meant a lot to their dad. Maybe I'll save up and buy from Betts or somewhere reputable...but with two babies, it's going to be a while before extra money appears lol

I know I've kind of beat this to death by now.. But I noticed something interesting on a copy of SB that someone posted on Twitter.. Check out the "g" on this one, compared to what i have in my original post .. The crooked dot (if that's what it is, is in both sigs). I think Sai King's Sig can vary quite a bit is all I'm sayin'

Check below for comparison :)
