I live in MA and as a kid in the 80s there used to be talk of going to Steven's house on Halloween night. How it was all done up for the holiday, and I think folks had said he even answered the door to the goblins looking for treats. Id like to go there this year, and I would have a copy of Salem's Lot and ask for a scribe if he was at the door. Any of you on the forum every visit Bangor on Halloween, or heard any stories from people who have? Thanks

I hate to rain on your parade, but that CAN'T be a copy of Salem's Lot. Salem's Lot was never published by Viking. It was a Doubleday book.

The signature, however, looks to be genuine.
