I like the German titles of Misery and Needful Things.

Thats interesting. Most of his titles has got closer translation in swedish compared to the original.
The ones where they went in a different direction are

!. Salems Lot (Staden som Försvann) (The City That Disappeared)
2. The Stand (Pestens tid) (The Time Of The Plague)
3. Firestarter (Eldfödd) (Fireborn)
4. The Shining (Varsel) (Portent)
5. The Dark Half (Stark) (Named after George Stark as you understand)
6. Needful Things (Köplust) (The Buying Lust)
7. Rose Madder (Rasande Rose) (Raging Rose)
8. Finders Keepers (Den Som Finner) (The One Who Finds)
9. Cell (Signal) (Signal)
The other ones are very close. Except perhaps Misery thats called Lida. Thats because it had to be a feminine name so they renamed the Misery character and named her Lida (which means to suffer in english translation) instead.

Yes, it's a paint color. There is some mention of it...a gown being dyed this color. Don't remember exact situation.

So far, I like the covers to The Shining and Bag of Bones (far left) the best.

The Shining cover is genius. How does one make a hotel seem as if it's lurking? By hiding most of it behind a ridge and letting it dwarf the little boy, although he is in the foreground he's still small. Well done.
