My cat sure doesn't do that. In fact, she hardly moves. We can't get her to play except for maybe 5 minutes a day. She is the dog's favorite toy though! The dog is forever trying to play with her, and she is having none of it. They are quite entertaining!

...never seen one do that outside a GIF, one of ours will stand on her hind legs briefly when she's "battling" with the other cat, but it's short lived.....

My mother-in-law and a few in-laws have had cats and I'm not really fond of them. The cats, not the in-laws. I noticed sometimes the cat would be sleeping, wake up suddenly, stare at some point and then haul-azz in the opposite direction. Thata freaked me out. What the he!! woke it up so suddenly? What was it staring at and why did it high tail it out? No. Nope, cats.
