Nonsense: What is your opinion - anyone - on microfiber sheets? I have never bought them, but there's a Groupon for them - 6 pc Queen in Lilac for $19.99. I want pink sheets but not enough to pay for much for them. But I don't want hot scratchy sheets.

Hey, HollyGolightly! Holly Polly, I haven't tried these but here's some info

A good set of bedding not only complete your bedroom décor, they also help you relax. Microfiber sheets have become popular mainly due to its low entry price. Let’s weigh the pros and cons of microfiber sheets and you will decide if it’s a wise investment for your health and the environment.
THE PROS OF MICROFIBER SHEETS

  • 1.Easy to clean, justtoss them into the washing machine and they will stand high heat dry due to the man made materials
  • 2.It’s soft.
  • 3.Many colors to choose from.
  • 4.Low cost, wrinkle resistance. All man made fabric is wrinkle resistant.
  • 5.Withstand repeated use without lose their shapes.
  • 6.Resistant to stainsand withstand all cleaning products
THECONS OF MICROFIBER SHEETS
  • 1.The material is synthetic, made in lab as compared to forming naturally in nature.
  • 2.The sheets are flammable.
  • 3.The fabric is rather thin.
  • 4.Mircorfiber sheets are made out of petroleum waste, the process that takes to convert the petroleumwaste into microfiber emits fumes which is bad for the environment.
  • 5.Microfiber sheets store electrons that attract other fibers like hair, and gets worse during thewinter month.
The conclusion: Microfiber sheets is made from man made fabric and only existed in modern society. Considering sheets are an investment which can be used for many years, why not choose the sheets not only are comfortable and soft, but also will last a long long time, allowing your body to breathe over and natural.

I have slept on linen bedclothes but I prefer cotton. Let us know, please.

I used to drink wine (red) and enjoyed it but then, all of a sudden as soon as I'd had two or three drinks I would get a horrible, horrible headache. I was talking to a friend and he advised I should try white wine since it was most likely then tannins in the red that made me so sick. Also, to try wines not in casks. As of now, I won't try it because really, the headaches came on so quickly and debilitating.

Hey!

So you're walking along and a guy comes around the corner running full tilt and tells you to RUN!

Would you RUN! Do you think?

Honestly? I'm almost positive I would RUN! (I live in Murica!) Now, when nothing happens and I catch my breath it doesn't mean I'm not going to punch you in the throat for scaring me. :smile-new:

Good Friday afternoon.

I have DirectTV for a few months and I saw a commercial for Dr. Pimple Popper inset green face emoji here but I thought it may be interesting. Now, I can't remember who likes to watch icky videos but is it Neesy ? I went looking for the commercial and found this

Dr. Pimple Popper Shares Literal 'Happy Hump Day'

(Dr. Pimple Popper shares happy hump day...@Spideyman ma'am this is an abomination hump day. Don't look!)

I have a very strong stomach and weirdness/strange/unusual interests me but I do have trouble with needles, specifically hypodermics so, have mercy.

Later and if I miss y'all

Have a great weekend!!!
I love Dr. Pimple Popper!

LOATHE them. They're not a natural fiber, so they don't breathe (they're sweaty). They cling to you and feel slimy in the least humidity. And they come off the mattress REALLY easily.
