I Started reading the Stand a couple of days ago, only 12 chapters in so no spoilers, but I am really enjoying it so far, even if it does give me hand cramp because it is so chunky

If you like The Stand you might also try Robert McCammon's "Swan Song" and Brian Hodge's "Dark Advent." Both are pretty good books with similar themes.
....oh man, this is just to easy....shooting wisecracks in a barrel.........TWSS!!!!!!!.....Enjoy your ride!!

Like during the reading of The Dark Tower books, there's much to ponder and consider while reading The Stand. Though it is chunky, reading it is well worth the haul. And I'm hoping (praying) you're reading the complete and uncut version.
...as one who has read both versions, and also to reiterate what has been said here before-the "cut" version didn't perturb the flow of the story at all, but with all the original material added back in-it certainly made the word soup even tastier.....Yes, it is the complete version I do have a copy of both but assumed the full version was the best option. I haven't read the DT series yet, am really looking forward to those too!

In the Foreword to The Stand, complete and uncut, Mr. King explains the reason for both versions. You decide.Yes, it is the complete version I do have a copy of both but assumed the full version was the best option. I haven't read the DT series yet, am really looking forward to those too!
Its the uncut edition
