I just started reading Under The Dome yesterday. I'm on page 125, and really enjoying it. Back when the book first came out, I didn't read it because it is so long (and with such a HUGE cast of characters). Now that I'm finally reading Under the Dome, I'm really appreciating the list of many of the characters in the beginning of the book. In the past I've been turned off by a couple of SK's lengthy books, but now that I'm older(49), I'm thinking about going back and giving books like Needful Things another shot (I gave up on it a few years ago). 11/22/63 was absolutely brilliant. Now want to read everything SK over again. The Dark Tower series was something I crashed and burned on during The Drawing of Three; maybe I will start over from book 1, and see if I enjoy it more.

I have to agree - 11/22/63 is very good!

Yesterday Stephen King was on Good Morning America - he said his fave books were Lisey's Story, The Stand and a third book - which I have now forgotten! :facepalm_smiley:

Just in case you missed this yesterday!

Hmmm - they must have cut it short because this clip doesn't ask him which of his books are his favourites :hmm::m_curious:
