Hey everyone.

For those who don't know or remember me, I was in this forum for a while in May (talking about trans issues from a personal perspective in the "Hot Topics" section), and then I completely vanished. My apologies for this. That probably came across as extremely rude, and I am sorry. I never meant to leave this board.

MANY things have happened between my last time posting and today. I've had important steps in my personal journey delayed, and I began to sink into a depression- THEN I was attacked and dropped out of college as a result, leaving me with no motivation for anything. Anyways, I'm in a better place now than I was, and I'm able to feel motivated to visit old haunts like this board again.

I've dearly missed all of you. I'm very, very happy to be here again!

Thanks, everyone :) the welcomeness means a lot to me, I really appreciate it! And Mal, I'm at community college now, sorta relearning how to handle society. And yeah, I've mostly built an internal filter for those type of people.

That's good to hear Vinyl Asylum. I'm 55 and I still don't know how to handle society. Usually I avoid it as much as possible! Too many shopping opportunities for my liking. =D

Hi! I think that May was around the time that I was a bit quieter than usual, so we might have missed each other like ships passing in the night. I'm Naomi, and I'm so sorry to hear about the struggles that you've been going through.
I can empathize; I've been lucky enough to have this place and the members of this board for solace and support.

I fixed it in your original post but it's still "nail me" in Scott's quote so the continuity is somewhat preserved. :smile2:
