I listened to Uriah Heep in my youth, kind of a prototypical heavy metal band, and this melancholy ditty was out of the box for them. But I've always liked it.

I saw Uriah Heep in 1978 . They opened for Jethro Tull. It was probably Jethro Tull's Heavy Horses tour. Both bands were fantastic.

Probably my favorite Springsteen song. Nice lead guitar work from Bruce on this track. He actually is a very good guitar player.

Probably my favorite Sammy era VH song. I think it's his best vocal performance of his career. That scream at 5:27 of the track is sick. And that guitar work? Quite awesome! Not EVH's most shreddy work but it probably one of his most impactful.
