Recently listened to this on audio book. Such a great story! The relationship between the sisters was spot on...how can a male write so well in a woman persona? Mr. King hats off to you :) Your brilliance with this book has awarded you the title of Honorary Female and welcome to come to any of our pajama parties.

I first read this book while going through separation/divorce. And, as it is about a marriage with light and dark sides, it made an extra impact on me. I seriously don't know how many times I have read it, and listened to the audiobook. To me, it is wonderful and magical, and I never get tired of it!

Words that have made it into my day to day lingo:
"The Word Pool", "Eating Nasty", SOWISA, BOOL the end, "everything the same", SSDD and "Ding dong for the Freesias"

there's more - but that's all that come to mind right now. There were a TON of treasures in this book.

I agree. Been a few seasons since I've read this, but, wasn't this also 'strap it on Babyluv'... Meaning, suck it up and do what you need to.. This is up in my top 5.

Mr. King has said this is his favourite book because it is about a personal relationship, so I guess it is somewhat based on his marriage to Tabitha :couple_inlove:

Yes, I read that he got the idea for the book when he was recovering after his accident. Tabitha had packed up his office to redecorate, and he thought that that is what it would look like if he had died.
But I didn't know it is his favorite book - that makes me happy, since I love it so much :)

Yes, a gem and always will be one of my favorites! Boo'ya Moon flies out of my mouth every now and then. I love it when someone actually realizes what I'm talking about .
No one ever knows what I am talking about when I quote Mr. King. :p But I keep doing it! And every time I have some problems, in my mind I say SOWISA, babylove :)
