Just got our holiday schedule on Friday. I'll be working until noon on the 24th, off Christmas day, and until noon on the 26th. I've told the other Mods to take off Christmas day as I'd like them to spend time with their family and not worry about moderating especially as it is a volunteer, unpaid position for them. This Board is a little more difficult to shut down than the vBulletin one so am not planning to ask Jordan to close it down completely. However, those who are still in the moderated status may have to wait a little longer before their posts will go live.

Edited: And as a present to the Moderators, maybe the rest of you can behave yourselves for a day or two.

Thank you, MsMod.

We can all use this Holiday to read all the postings we often do not have time to visit. Tons of info in "Written Works". Visit the profile of members and get to know them better.
A good time to step back and just read.
Wishing all the Mods a Merry Christmas!!

How are you doing today?
Right back atcha, luv! I'm doing alright, Marsha. Thanks for asking. Had to go and pay the surgery bill earlier or I lose the discount (I love saving $$!) and also because I have an HSA account and in 4 days it will be frozen until the new bank takes over on Jan. 1st. Gotta get my ducks all lined up, doncha know? =D Had me a little nap after I got home. How are you doing? Are you still using the turbo-charged scooter thingy?

I'm not a mod (lol), but I believe Flake said something about that happening. I'm sorry, but I can't remember on which thread she made her comment.
Somebody had asked about whether we would be--earlier in Dec (I think?) and I wasn't sure, had just been remembering what had happened the previous year.

If there was a way (maybe there is, hmmmm...) to just shut down those areas temporarily, that would be on my Wish List and that would avoid that temptation. ;-D

Two more weeks for the scooter then I get promoted to walking on both feet using 2 crutches for a week. If I do okay with that, I go to 1 crutch for 2 weeks and by that point will be back for a recheck with the doc to see if I can throw that crutch away (I hear that in a tent revival voice ;-D). Then on to physical therapy.

I hear you about all the insurance and bill paying. That's one reason I had both operations so close together--didn't want to miss out on taking advantage of having met the deductible. You get your rest--it helps the healing--and no wild celebrations! Healing vibes being sent your way. :cheerful:
