So, I was just now watching one of my Christmas presents, the 3-season run of Spenser: For Hire (one of the best adaptations of one of the best detective series ever, BTW). The episode I was watching took place in a BOOKSTORE, and what should I see but a display of the original hardback of Eyes of the Dragon! The emerald green cover, which is the one I found last year in a used store and have on my shelf.

A small victory, but mine own.

Just for fun, let's double-link it:

Spenser has a habit of telling people, "Spenser with an 'S', like the poet." Spenser the poet is, of course, probably best known for his epic poem The Faerie Queene. Hmm, who around here has based a work on a long poem by an English poet?

That's pretty neat - it's cool to find those little snippets or references to his work now and then :encouragement:

love eyes of the dragon. I would love if Stephen wrote a sequel to it.
