Stephen R. King?

Had to search "Stephen King" on amazon a few days ago to fill in the gaps in my Dark Tower collection before I strapped on leather and iron an started MY journey.

Hmmm?

Among my old friends were a number of titles that looked out of place... then I looked closer...

The author's name was Bold across the top of the book
Stephen R.
King

In most cases it had been set in typeface so the R hugged the right edge
And King under stephen spread across the cover.

You could miss the R altogether.

I'm just saying.
Hey, the guy might be a great writer, or a Bachman alias... lol

I think there's something on the main page of Stephen King.com about the fight that our dear Moderator had to put up to get Amazon to put this author's middle initial on his 'page'. Lots of folks have been duped by this guy in the past. Stick with us, we'll steer you away from the charlatans.

Don't fall for it.......he's not even a mediocre writer, and is not associated with our Uncle Steve at all.

I guess this is how Amazon "resolved" the problem......but a man on a fast horse could definitely miss the 'R' all together, especially when the book is included with the real Stephen King's books.

I was looking up on my Kindle a few days ago Stephen King books and this author Stephen R. King came up during my search, mixed in with the Stephen King books. How funny, I see this in the thread. His books are even trying to look like SK. Lame!
