...I was wise-cracking yes, but as much as he didn't like me jumping on his opinion-I don't like self-declared critics who casually toss off a portion of someone's life's work before said work has even been published....it's OK and mighty fine with me if you don't care for it AFTER you've read it, but this poo-pooing of work that's not even done yet?...c'mon!...

Where did I say that? MM wasn't interesting enough to make me want sequels, let alone read them. Don't put words in my mouth. Comments like that are why I don't come here often.

...I thought about this for a while, and it continued to rankle me-so, you don't come here often because someone disagrees with you???....seriously???....open the curtains in Mom's basement and get a real smell of reality!---just because I don't agree with you doesn't make you an azz or me one either...it just means I DON"T AGREE with you...that's all, that's it and it's not like we're going to be breaking bread together anyway...so chill out...either way, neither one of us is going to change the other's mind...

My FAVORITE are the thread titles that say "Possible spoilers" so that I can stay far, far away!

As a rule of thumb, I try to stay away any posts and sections in forums about books, movies and video games I haven't finished. I have found that you are bound to read something that gives away the plot. Ideally you shouldn't have to, but people make mistakes and aren't always cognizant they are giving away spoilers. Most of the time people do their best, but it just takes one slip up to spoil a story which can be really frustrating.

Well this answered my question. I was about to ask when the next instalment was out! But, 'next year' ?!? Too loose SK! Next year when? I am just too excited anyway, but if I have a rough idea of which part of next year, it might help ;-) .... I know,I know, I'm sad ::P

The pub date hasn't been finalized yet for either the sequel or the short story collection.

Well, I just finished today and I didn't look at any of these threads. I am late to the game. Glad for a little more info on the sequel as I heard about it, but didn't want to look at anything before I was done. In the meantime, on to the Tower! Wizard and Glass. Got to see what happens with Blaine (who is very lame!)
...and a pain. (Ahhh, a first-timer of the Tower? I remember my first time, so precious. I love W&G btw, one of my favourites.)
