I'm not that far into book but this is what I love about sk. I get this book and all I have heard about was the clown and these kids and its scary. But then he gives all kinds of other stuff. My favorite scene so far was so vividly written. The part where bev gets the phone call and her abusive husband flips out. A huge physical battle breaks out that is so superbly written I can't even find the words. Superbly isn't good enough. Then she is sitting on the curb, beat marks all over her, in her bare feet, no money, no wallet or I.D. or credit card and then just starts laughing. That was the best when she laughed. You just got it.

It's a 1000 + page book. If Stephen King had made it only about a killer clown eating children, I doubt it'd be any good.

I think IT is King at his best; his characterizations, the way he writes from the children's perspective surpasses anything he has written prior or since, in my opinion.

When It first came out I found it really confusing and didn't like the end. So I read it again and suddenly it entranced and frightend me.

Yea I agree, still waiting for the kids to come in. Right now there mostly 8ntroduced as adults. I love these types of novels that go back and forth in time.im guessing that what this one does.
My sister 8s coming in town today till Sunday so I probably won't be reading a lot but I'm going to try and sneak in some. I can here my sister now. " I come to visit and all you do is read that Damn book." Lol
