Spenser convinced Tony that the women were going to band together against the men. Tasha won immunity for the third time in a row, so if he voted out Spenser, the women would have a huge advantage in numbers. So Tony, Woo, Tasha and Spenser banded together to vote out Jefra. And Tony still has his two idols, one of which he wore proudly around his neck during tribal.
Ok... Just finished watching it and read all your spoiler :)
surely the women knew Tasha wouldn't vote for Spencer... They should have voted for Tony, four votes would have made him use that special idol. I couldn't tell... Was Tony wearing the special idol during the vote?

I think
Spencer stands a decent shot of winning. If he makes it to the final three, that is. If Tasha keeps up her streak of winning immunity challenges and makes it to the final three, she has a good story to tell, too. Tony was wearing the ordinary idol, the one he told his coalition about. No one else knows he has the special one or what it does.

Oh! Tony was pretty smart not to tell anyone about the special idol :(

Tony has two idols -- only one of which the others know about. I don't know how much longer he can use them, though -- it's getting down to the crunch. I suspect next week they will band together to vote him off, but he's got the powerful idol that he can play after the vote, so he's safe for at least one more week.
At least they'd force him to use it if they did that, so he couldn't hide behind it any more.
I'm rooting for Spencer. He's been the underdog since he was the last guy left in his tribe. If he pulls out a top two against Tony, he should win for playing the game. Not Tony, for hiding behind the idol.

Y'know who has been irritating me even more so than Tony? Spencer... I keep wanting to slap that smirk right off his face.
Yeah, not loving the smirk. But he's kind of earned it for making a play against Tony and hanging in there for all this time. My vote's for him. Or the chick that keeps winning immunity. She's really working for it.

Here, there and everywhere.
Well, I'd become pretty disenchanted with
Kass, but she's starting to play in earnest now and has my attention.
I actually really like
Spencer, and he's my top pick to win. I was surprised to read in his bio that he's an economics major - he strikes me more as an engineer/chemist/physicist
.

I am so bummed that
Tasha is gone! But not surprised - she's dominated at challenges lately and is likeable, thus a huge threat
.

You know, I don't really think that Tony is quite in Hantz territory. While he's a hothead, and becoming unhinged, he's not quite as brutish and stupid as Russell. And he's played the hell out of this game. I don't want to see him win, but I also don't think he's as despicable as Russell, or as insane as Brandon.

And dang, why do I have to wait another week to see my program?

It was fun watching Woo playing around in front of the kids.

The vote sure got changed around a lot at the last minute. You have to give Tony credit, though.
It took a lot of gumption to not play that regular idol and trust that he knew which way the vote was going. He did have a backup, of course, but now he's sitting pretty next week.

I'm bummed too :(
I wanted either Tasha or Woo to win. I was hoping nobody would figure out she would probably win if she became one of the final three. Woo will probably go next week :(

Do y'all think Kass really thought Tony was talking bad about her? Or was it a ploy?
