I'm thoroughly enjoying this season!

I hoped that Angelina was going home this time, but I think her remaining time on the island is very short.

Mike and Christian are my current favorites, and I like Allison as well. I like Gabby, too, but she seems to be unraveling.
Same and I agree about Angelina.

The David vs. Goliath theme is a little weak, in my opinion, but it's a pretty strong season so far. Some interesting personalities. Christian during interviews is a hoot -- he gets a lot of screen time because of that. He's a strong contender. I think Alison(?), the one who won immunity this week, is, too.

The wife watches the show. I was talking to her, during commercials of course to avoid getting yelled at, and the one contestant looked familiar. The nerdy older guy looks like the gas station attendant who was conned by the two girls in the movie Zombieland. Is that him?

You may be right - his name is Mike White - he is supposed to be a writer/film maker (I think) but perhaps he has done some acting as well. Zombieland was made in 2009 so he looks a bit different now, nine years later.

I'd be interested to hear what you Survivor watchers thought of this season? What were your thoughts about the guy they got rid of for inappropriate behavior? What did you see as far as the show? With editing, you might not have seen anything, but did you get a feeling about this guy by what you saw?

One of his accusers got voted off instead of him? Was that the right thing to do at the time?

It was actually Season 39 - Island of the Idols that this guy was given the boot on. Apparently he made inappropriate sexual advances to contestants and crew. Not too much was shown on camera, I believe they showed him touching a girl’s hair, when this first came up and snowballed from there. He was given ample warnings which was shown on camera and finally got pulled for an encounter with a crew member near the end of the season. First time this has happened on Survivor, at least made public anyway...
