I understand that it is released next year, but have always been able to order months in advance, even got an email stating that the arrival date was pushed back until June 28. Just not understanding the unable to source bit, was wondering if there had been a problem or something.
No problem on this end that I'm aware of.

Tell me about it. As if in this day and age it's even necessary to include hyperbole as a selling point on the back of a Stephen King novel. ;-D

The copy should just read "New book. Go wild."
All kidding aside... first, having written this stuff and having to answer to/satisfy many people above me, it's not easy. Second, the sell copy is geared mostly towards new readers; we Constant Readers will read just about anything by SK. (I should know, I read Revival.)

I can tell you that I'm 88 pages into it (breaking my rule of waiting for the ARC) and it hooked me right from the start. :smile2:

We...well I'm old now and what constitutes scary? I loved that book & the way he left it open for your imagination to decide exactly what happened during the treatments. Was it secret electricity that showed the patient images of another realm or did the electricity stimulate the deepest, untouched part of the brain leaving us wondering, what could 100% brain power be capable of showing us?

Not a horror book but thought provoking, nobody writes like this guy.

It is a page turner and I liked it but I had different expectations and the only scary part was the climax, I thought. I agree with the points you made. Welcome!
