What's the story behind the inscription, do you know? It looks like she knew Patti. "After too long a time".
Were they friends? She signed (official) under her name. Makes me think they had an inside joke. Do you know the scoop? Thanks for sharing the pics.

They are supposed to be releasing all of her titles in limited editions and hopefully there will be a release of her unpublished novel The Sky In The Water that Steve mentions in his list of books at the back of On Writing. CD said in their original announcement that there was going to be 'a surprise' for Tabitha King fans, so I do hope that this is what they meant.

That is really cool, but I have a thing to find her books in the first edition at a second hand store, same with Owen king. I think it is more of a hunt...

That is cool, her signature is simmular to Stephens. That is cool, wonder if she uses the same pen as king does, I know joe hill does? What is the thing on the CD cover? A tatto gun?
It's some kind of space age type gun that the artist made up. It's a 'ray gun' that shrinks people.

Funny thing is I found the original copy (sans Dust jacket) at a Goodwill in downtown Seattle. I have no idea how it ended up there. I believe that 'Patti' and Tabitha must have known each other. You're right, it seems to be an inside joke or something. I hope Tabby isn't going to be too mad at 'Patti' for getting rid of the book! ;;D

It may be a familly member who had no idea it was sighned, or perhaps someone trying to cash in on the name and realized she did not sell for a high amount. Who knows

I usually work either an 8-5 or 7-4 or 6-3. Sometimes I get lucky and have to work a 5-2. These are all day shifts. No graveyards for me! But, I wish they were all the same time as I don't like the 'all over the place' shifts. It doesn't bode well for relaxing.
Graveyard shift is a cast iron b**ch to get used to. I worked 9pm-7am for about a year and a half at the PD. I could NEVER get a good sleep schedule going the whole time. As soon as a spot opened up back on afternoon shift, I jumped at it. I admire people who work night shift long term, but it sucks for me personally.
