Bought a first edition of the stand. The book has the correct price on dust jacket. It has code t39 in gutter. But when I got the book it seemed pretty small. Usually book club editions r smaller. Did some research and I believe on this book it actually says book club edition on inside front cover of dust jacket. But not sure if they made more than 1 bce. This book has a few remakes. So I was trying to find the dimensions for the book. This would clear it all up,but was unable to find it anywhere. Checked wikipedia, stephen king collector website but to no avail. Does anyone know the correct dimensions or where I can find it. Ty

The first 5 novels that King wrote were published by Doubleday. They are all on the same scale as a bookclub edition book, i.e. they are smaller than the Viking hardback editions of King's later books. This is the fun part- I paid $7.99 for a mint condition hardback 1st printing of Carrie at a used bookstore some years ago. I guess their book buyer assumed that since the book was smaller that it was a bookclub edition. Man, I nearly ran out of that store after making my purchase! ;-D
