Honestly, after having read a quarter of this book, I already feel the need to sing praise of Stephen King and the way he writes.
A few of you may be surprised, but On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft, is the first Stephen King book I have read. I got it today, bought it off Amazon for around twelve dollars or so. Honestly, I bought it because I had already read Randy Ingermanson's Writing Fiction for Dummies; and after devouring it and a few other books on the craft of writing I decided to try this.

Now, I've been reading since the age of six, but only competently since eleven. I still cannot write to save my life. But, I've found a few books that just sing to me, most of these have been written by Lord Jeffrey Archer - Clifton Chronicles anyone? - However, I can say that King's way of writing just captivates me, it has kept me reading for five hours and I love it.

So, truly, Stephen King, thank you for writing such a book, and thank you for now making me spend what little money I have on a few more of your books. I am certain it will be money well spent, and hours of reading that I enjoy!

Thanks
