LOL. I ran out of that too. The perfect Thanksgiving dinner is really all about the gravy. It doesn’t matter if the turkey is a little dry or the mashed taters a bit lumpy… As long as that ambrosia sauce is there to smother the turkey and potatoes in a blanket of deliciousness. I had to have my third helping of filling, naked (the filling… not me). :)
You must have been stuffed. ;)

That is a downward spiral friend.

Mom made a bunch of pies and I got the leftovers. She made one pecan pie that she messed up and the crust stuck to the pie pan. So she didn't serve that one but I took it home with me anyway.

I hit rock bottom last night when I was digging the last of the pecan pie out of the pie pan. :)

Sounds like you need a detox - try drinking some filtered water (about 12 oz.) with two tablespoons of pure maple syrup, the juice of half a lemon, freshly squeezed, and a dash of cayenne pepper. I like to warm the water first.

After one or two of those you'll be feeling a bit lighter - it really helps to get everything going again [if you know what I mean]

But now I have a craving for pecan pie (or butter tarts!) Butter tarts are a Canadian thing.
