Originally published in Onan in 1971 and revised for its 1981 appearance in Heavy Metal magazine, this story is seeing the light of day again in the new anthology from Cemetery Dance: Shining in the Dark
Thanks, Bev. I've always been intrigued with this story. Do you know if King will be retooling it? After 45 years he may think differently about it than he did when it was originally published. This is not a personal commentary on the story's merit but, rather, a question of if he ever feels the itch to improve upon older stories. I know he reworked The Gunslinger (for different reasons, of course) and there may be others. Do you have any insight or opinions on this subject? Thanks.

I'm not involved in production, so I don't know.

Off Topic but I wanted to say I enjoyed your interview with Joe and your other contributions to the Joe Hill edition of CD magazine.
