That freakin sucks. I'm so sorry to hear all is not going smoothly. Warm wishes and best of luck to you. This year has been a rough one for you, it really doesn't seem fair.I freaking KNEW it! After saying several times last week that all of our ducks were in a row, all Ts crossed and Is dotted, and that we could expect a check this week (on tape), now we're being told that they need some new paperwork that will take at least a month, probably two, to get/process. Paperwork that we were specifically told as late as lady Friday we specifically did not need. A letter from the first contractor that didnt do any work on our house saying they didn't do any work on our house.
It’s been imossible to reach these people, the first contractors. They changed their phone number and the address is over an hour away from us. The only resolution, according to the bank turds, is to send a registered letter to the first contractors requesting the paperwork from them, and if they don’t reply in a month, send another registered letter. If the first contractors don't reply another month after that, then bank turds will accept that as proof that they aren't involved with us.
Two months. Two more months that our house sits there neglected.
After chewing out some supervisor at Bank Turds R Us, I decided that 2 things are happening. First, we're talking to a lawyer. This has crossed the line. Thanks to my urging, Tall Guy has them on tape from last week saying we were good to go. And yesterday saying something very different. Let's let a judge decide if it's actionable. Maybe the bank turds that don't want to pay out our claim will end up buying our house and sending us on a cruise.
Second, I'm finding those first contractors and getting a release letter out of them if I have to sit on their front doorstep all day. I'm not waiting another two months. I'm just not.
There. I've ranted. Now, to action.
Type up a letter yourself and have the contractors sign it. That way, all you need is a signature and not have to wait around for the actual letter. And you can word it to say exactly what needs said.I freaking KNEW it! Kurben! What did you do? Maybe you have gout.I can for the moment not walk. Hardly even limp. Don't know what it isbut my left foot don't wanna play. Hurts like a b#### even when laying down resting it. Not to talk about when i hadto get to work in the morning and home again, pure torture. Tried once, tuesday, in a lame attempt to get somebody to look at it but they just said they will call friday. By friday it will have fallen off or something it feels like. I will try to see someone qualified tomorrow (if i survive the night.....)
Sending positive vibes your way to get this resolved quickly.I freaking KNEW it! Do you have medical centers/hospital emergency rooms where you could go to get it looked at without an appointment? Sounds like something that needs attention sooner than later.I can for the moment not walk. Hardly even limp. Don't know what it isbut my left foot don't wanna play.
