I saw this and wanted to share.
La Crosse high school student saves friend from choking
This made me cry because I have been choking on food before and it's a horrible, horrifying experience. ( I actually took a course on the Heimlich to learn how to perform it on myself if I ever was choking and was by myself. )
I cried some more when the young man, Ian, went over, didn't panic, didn't freeze just kept doing it until the obstruction was expelled.
Yay!

Saw The Belko Experiment this afternoon. Outstanding movie. Office Space meets "Saw" with some of the most graphic violence I've seen in a movie in quite a while thrown in for good measure, so naturally I give it 2 thumbs up.

This was a close call! I just discovered that they have changed the time. I put on the tv to watch a show and it was ending! What goes on i thought. Am I nuts? Then i remembered maybe the switch to summertime is already upon us. I would have been one hour late for work if i hadn't discovered this. I practically always miss these switches back and forward. Sometimes with disturbing results. Do you also have problems with these switches.
Yes pretty much daylight savings time is a pain in the arse here Kurben. Go forward and hour then fall back an hour. I don't really care which one they settle on but just leave it alone already.

I can imagine. Kentucky wouldn't go away, but NC just seems to know how to close out a game down the stretch. NC vs Oregon should be classic.
I knew Kentucky would put up a fight. Even so, there were a few times I was upset that the Heels didn't play up to par.....and when Berry rolled his ankle, I almost cried.
The Florida vs SC game was a good one also. NC will have to bring it against Oregon. The ducks have been solid, couldn't believe they knocked off the Jayhawks.
That one surprised me as well.

Only if they had me scheduled to work on a weekend when the time change occurs - I noted a pattern where it looked like I was chosen as the one to work during time change (both for the spring forward and also the fall back occurrences) - this happened maybe three times in a row!
Gonzaga is the wild card, as usual, I didn't follow them very much this year, so don't know much about them. I know they're always around in the tournament. Gonzaga vs SC should be a wild one.
I can't be certain, but I thought one of the announcers said that Gonzaga hasn't been to the Final Four before. I didn't know that.....it seems that they're always in the tournament, so I haven't paid attention to how far they've gotten.
I kinda hope SC wins that one.
