Enjoy the "break"---- stay in touch through PM, or The Playground. Read those TBR books, watch the Horror Movies for the Halloween Thread, catch up on all the unread posts, and just stay safe. See you all October 18th.

Safe travels, Moderator

I missed everyone! I attended the Merrimack Valkey Book Fest with stacy270, where we got pretty good pics with Owen King. I actually acted like a mad stalker and jumped BACK in line to tell Owen I needed a retake of my photo because he was looking down!!!

In other news, the 2018 Halloween Story will roll out today! We’ve been working on it for a few months, throughout the board closings. We are excited and you should be too; it’s epic!

Hey Y'all!
Hope everyone had a great break.

Just dropping in to let you know I'll be mostly MIA for at least a few days. I've got a bunch of stuff going on with the Munchkin......braces, dance classes, FASFA Night at school, and oral surgery on Monday.

So tell Dana Jean not to worry. I'm okay.
....and don't get used to the quiet. I'll be back!!! :biggrin2:

I also had the great fortune to have Rio Youers, the author, speak to my Derry women’s writibg group. Of course I snagged the opportunity to drag him out to diinner and drinks afterward! *swoon* so I had a good week last week. Google Rio, you’ll understand the swoon; he’s handsome and British.(as an added bonus, he found Mt missing drivers license in my car on the way back from dinner)(and he hugged me once that night and twice on Saturday at the book Fest)
